Results provided to and interpreted by Intertek, comparing the power consumption between AI energy mode on and off in AI comfort mode of AR07D9181HZN model. Actual savings may vary by usage patterns and environment and the set temperature may increase by up to 2 degrees. Requires the use of the SmartThings App and a Samsung account.
Comfort Drying
Enjoy comfortable dehumidification without feeling cold. It maintains the desired temperature while also keeping you in the “Humidity Comfort Zone” with a humidity level of between 40% to 60%. By only creating sufficient cold air for dehumidifying it reduces energy use by 30%*.
* Tested by Intertek, based on testing comparing the conventional Dry Mode and new Dry Comfort Mode on the AR80F07D21WN model. Tested in a 68㎥ chamber at 27°C(DB)/24°C(WB) over 2 hours and the power saving rate is obtained by comparing each mode integrated power under the condition of maintaining indoor relative humidity below 60%, which is the comfortable humidity level.

ELIMINATES COLD DRAFTS
WindFree™* Cooling technology maintains the desired temperature in your home and eliminates cold drafts and reduces energy use by delivering air through micro holes on the indoor unit to produce a dispersed and gentle flow of air defined as “still air.”
ENERGY SAVINGS
The Motion Detection Sensor (MDS) on our WindFree™* Premium optimizes energy savings and comfort in any space. Users can choose between direct airflow, to have air follow the user around the room, or indirect airflow, where the user can have the air blow away from them in the room. When the MDS recognizes that there are no occupants in the space, the system will automatically implement energy saving measures to reduce energy use.
